Our Town

Templeton was founded in 1886 by C.H. Phillips. The Southern Pacific Railroad ended its line here, causing tremendous interest in the area. Take a stroll down Main Street and you are visiting a quaint, western town with many old restored buildings. Take advantage of several fine restaurants.

Our Location

Halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, our Inn is convenient to both Hearst Castle and over two dozen wineries.
